Professor Feridun Acar's clinical practice spans functional neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery, radiosurgery, cranial tumour surgery and vascular neurosurgery.
Returning to Türkiye, Professor Acar established functional neurosurgery programmes, created a Gamma Knife service, trained residents and fellows, and served as Chairman of a Department of Neurosurgery. His goal has never been simply to perform operations, but to build systems, train people and create opportunities for future generations.
